Paris Saint-Germain announce transfer plans

Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has insisted that the club will continue to spend large sums as they pursue a successful future.

The announcement will certainly spark a transfer frenzy this summer, as the Paris club attempt to make their mark in the Champions League.

"Our preferred option is to invest heavily and quickly. We'll keep spending these sums over the next five or six years, but then the investments will start to ease off," Khelaifi told La Gazatta dello Sport.

PSG currently sit top of Ligue 1.
