Javier Pastore undergoes Roma medical

Javier Pastore has undergone a medical with Roma ahead of a move to the Serie A giants.

The 29-year-old, who was strongly linked with West Ham United earlier this month, has spent each of the last seven seasons with Paris Saint-Germain.

The Argentine is seemingly now on the verge of completing a move to Roma, however, with the Italian side's official Twitter account posting images of the experienced midfielder in Rome on Tuesday morning.

Pastore, who scored four Ligue 1 goals for PSG last season, is expected to cost Roma in the region of £17.5m, although the deal could eventually rise to £21m.

Last term, the attacker made 37 appearances for PSG in all competitions.
