PSG star Zlatan Ibrahimovic denies rumours he wants AC Milan return

Zlatan Ibrahimovic denies reports that he wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer for a reunion with AC Milan.

Paris Saint-Germain star Zlatan Ibrahimovic has rubbished reports that he is keen to return to AC Milan this summer.

The Sweden international is rumoured to have held talks with Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani regarding a potential summer move.

Ibrahimovic left the Italian outfit for the Parc des Princes in 2013 for a £15m fee, and the player insisted this week while on international duty that he has no intention of leaving the Ligue 1 champions.

"I'm a PSG player and I still have a year on my contract," Ibrahimovic told reporters. "Milan? It's only the media who are talking about it, there's nothing to it. You are very good at spreading rumours from around the world.

"Have you called Galliani to check if it's true? Since I left Milan, I've talked to Galliani now and again, but it doesn't mean anything.

"You never know what could happen, but right now I'm happy at PSG. We had a great season, and the project is continuing to develop. We're making progress all the time, and I don't intend to leave. That's the situation just now."

In 126 appearances for the French club, Ibrahimovic has scored 106 goals.
