Blaise Matuidi "happy" with forceful Paris Saint-Germain outing

Blaise Matuidi is happy that Paris Saint-Germain forced Nantes into submission during their 5-0 hammering in Ligue 1.

Blaise Matuidi has expressed his delight at Paris Saint-Germain's dismantling of Nantes in Ligue 1 on Sunday.

The defending champions now sit five points clear at the top of the Ligue 1 table after a 5-0 slaughtering of Nantes, thanks to a Zlatan Ibrahimovic brace at the Parc des Princes, along with Thiago Silva, Thiago Motta and Edinson Cavani goals.

"We wanted to force Nantes to make mistakes in their half of the field by pressing high up the pitch," Matuidi told the club's official website. "We played well, scored a lot of goals and kept a clean sheet, so we are very happy."

Matuidi is out of contract with PSG at the end of the season.
