Kevin Gameiro: "Great to score the winning goal"

Kevin Gameiro believes that last night's 1-0 victory over Montpellier HSC will set Paris Saint-Germain up perfectly ahead of Tuesday's clash with Barcelona.

The 25-year-old scored the winner at the Parc des Princes to help his team go eight points clear at the top of Ligue 1.

"This win is a real boost for the morale and builds confidence for the match against Barcelona," the club's official website quotes Gameiro as saying.

"We now have provisionally eight points between us and second place which is a good break.

"It's great to score the winning goal for this team."

The goal was Gameiro's sixth of the campaign.
