Laurent Blanc: 'Zlatan Ibrahimovic has hardly trained'

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has 'hardly trained' in the build-up to Saturday's Coupe de France final, according to Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc.

Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc has revealed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has 'hardly trained' in the build-up to Saturday's Coupe de France final against Marseille.

The Swedish international had emerged as a doubt for the contest after picking up a calf problem, but Blanc has insisted that the 34-year-old will feature despite his lack of training this week.

"Zlatan has not been training much this week because he has been feeling pain in his calf. He has done a lot of his work inside," Blanc told reporters. "But he has got the mental fortitude to be able to play.

"For a game like this, he can do it on motivation and spirit alone. He has huge mental strength. He and the other players will give everything they have to win. They have a winner's mentality, which is exactly what you need to win finals."

Ibrahimovic, who has scored 48 times for PSG this season, will depart the French champions on a free transfer this summer. Manchester United are believed to be the strong favourites for his signature.
