Alex happy to sign new Paris Saint-Germain deal

Alex says that he is in negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain over a contract extension.

Brazilian defender Alex has outlined his ambition to sign a new contract at Paris Saint-Germain in the near future.

The 31-year-old centre-back's current deal at the Parc des Princes expires in 2015, and he is keen on extending his tenure with the Ligue 1 champions.

"We are negotiating my renewal," Alex told Goal.com. "I'm fine here and I would like to sign another contract for a year or two."

Alex moved to PSG from Chelsea in 2012.
