How PSG could line up against Lyon

Paris Saint-Germain manager Christophe Galtier could receive a number of timely injury boosts for Sunday's Ligue 1 clash with Lyon at the Parc des Princes.

Les Parisiens will remain without Neymar (ankle) and Presnel Kimpembe (Achilles) for the rest of the season, while Nordi Mukiele, Carlos Soler and Sergio Ramos should not be back from their muscular issues just yet either.

However, Achraf Hakimi was able to turn out for Morocco during the international break, while Marquinhos is also in line to return from a muscular problem in time for the weekend.

Marquinhos's comeback could tempt Galtier into sticking with a three-man defensive setup, as the Brazilian joins Danilo Pereira and Juan Bernat in front of Gianluigi Donnarumma - Bernat trained individually at the start of Friday's session, but there is nothing to suggest that he will not be available at the time of writing.

Hakimi will seemingly be given the green light to charge down the right flank, as Nuno Mendes holds his spot on the left with Bernat being utilised as a left-sided centre-half if fit enough.

With Soler still absent, Fabian Ruiz should once again link arms with Vitinha and Marco Verratti in the engine room, although Renato Sanches and Warren Zaire-Emery are also waiting in the wings.

As ever, Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi will form their deadly partnership in the final third, as Hugo Ekitike remains confined to minutes from the bench.

Paris Saint-Germain possible starting lineup: Donnarumma; Marquinhos, Pereira, Bernat; Hakimi, Verratti, Vitinha, Ruiz, Mendes; Messi, Mbappe
