Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Paris Saint-Germain could line up for Saturday's Ligue 1 clash with Lens.

Paris Saint-Germain have lost a third player to a season-ending injury ahead of Saturday's top-of-the-table Ligue 1 showdown with Lens at the Parc des Princes.

Nordi Mukiele has undergone surgery on a hamstring problem and will not play again this term, joining Neymar (ankle) and Presnel Kimpembe (Achilles) on the long-term list.

Christophe Galtier's predicament is not helped by another problem for Renato Sanches, who has been ruled out for up to four weeks with an adductor concern sustained in last weekend's win at Nice.

Marco Verratti is also unable to return from a hamstring problem just yet, with both of Fabian Ruiz and Warren Zaire-Emery waiting in the wings to deputise in the engine room.

Carlos Soler and Vitinha should be in no danger of losing their spots in the midfield-heavy formation, as Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes continue out wide - the latter would normally face competition from Juan Bernat, but his Spanish counterpart is currently dealing with an ankle problem and should not start.

Once again setting up in a 3-5-2 system, Galtier should go with the unaltered rearguard of Marquinhos, Sergio Ramos and Danilo Pereira in front of Gianluigi Donnarumma, while the two-man strikeforce, as ever, picks itself.

Kylian Mbappe needs just one more goal for a record-breaking 139th in Ligue 1 - taking him clear of Edinson Cavani and into first place in PSG's all-time charts - and the 24-year-old appears to have shaken off a hip niggle in time to link up with Lionel Messi.

Paris Saint-Germain possible starting lineup: Donnarumma; Pereira, Marquinhos, Ramos; Hakimi, Ruiz, Soler, Vitinha, Mendes; Messi, Mbappe
