Lionel Messi recovers from an Achilles problem to return to the Paris Saint-Germain squad for Saturday's potential Ligue 1 title decider with Lens.

Paris Saint-Germain attacker Lionel Messi has returned to Mauricio Pochettino's squad for Saturday's Ligue 1 clash with Lens at the Parc des Princes.

The Argentine missed the midweek win over Angers due to Achilles discomfort but is fit enough to make the cut as PSG aim to wrap up the top-flight title with four games to spare.

Presnel Kimpembe and Marco Verratti are also involved, with the duo shaking off minor knee injuries that also ruled them out of the 3-0 success at the Stade Raymond Kopa.

Ander Herrera has fully recovered from an eye infection and hamstring problem to make himself available, but Leandro Paredes, Abdou Diallo, Julian Draxler and Mauro Icardi miss out alongside the suspended Edouard Michut.

Layvin Kurzawa has seemingly recovered from a back problem but has not been included in the squad by Pochettino, who has also left Colin Dagba at home.

PSG need only one point to confirm their status as 2021-22 Ligue 1 champions against Les Sang et Or, with the runaway leaders 15 points clear of Marseille at the summit.

PSG squad: Navas, Donnarumma, Letellier, Lavallee, Hakimi, Kehrer, Marquinhos, Ramos, Kimpembe, Bitshiabu, Mendes, Bernat, Pereira, Gueye, Herrera, Verratti, Wijnaldum, Ebimbe, Simons, Messi, Di Maria, Mbappe, Neymar
