Saturday's Ligue 1 predictions including Toulouse vs. PSG

Marseille vs. St Etienne (Saturday, 4.00pm)

Marseille will look to consolidate their place in the automatic Champions League places when they welcome Saint-Etienne to the Stade Velodrome in Ligue 1 on Saturday.

This fixture will become the third-most played in the history of Ligue 1 when they take to the field this weekend, with both club's respective meetings against Bordeaux the only head-to-head to have been played more often.

We say: Marseille 4-1 Saint-Etienne

Marseille will be big favourites, and with the chance to win back-to-back home games for the first time this season, and five in a row against Saint-Etienne for the first time ever, the home side have plenty of encouragement to be on their game here.

Few will give ASSE a chance here considering how potent Marseille's attack is and how poor Les Verts are at the back, and the visitors may be more focused on the home clash with Angers next weekend.

Monaco vs. Nantes (Saturday, 6.00pm)

Monaco will look to arrest a concerning run of form when they welcome Nantes to the Stade Louis II in Ligue 1 on Saturday.

Adi Hutter's side fell to defeat in the most important game of their season in the Champions League on Wednesday, after falling out of the Ligue 1 top three last weekend.

We say: Monaco 1-1 Nantes

Everything is caving in for Hutter's Monaco at present, and even though they would like to prioritise the upcoming second leg in the Champions League against Benfica, they must place huge emphasis on this fixture, with their top-four spot in doubt.

Brest are the only team to have beaten Nantes since November, and while Kombouare's side hardly set the world alight, they can be tricky customers, especially for an out-of-form outfit like Monaco.

Toulouse vs. PSG (Saturday, 8.05pm)

Paris Saint-Germain will look to continue their phenomenal start to 2025 when they travel to Toulouse in Ligue 1 on Saturday night.

Arguably no club is in better form across Europe than PSG at present, as their results and performances continue to get better and better, week by week.

We say: Toulouse 1-3 Paris Saint-Germain

PSG are taking Ligue 1 by storm, and no club has been able to get the better of them since Toulouse did in May, but this will be a big ask for a club currently out of form.

After such a big win over Brest on Tuesday, PSG boss Enrique can afford to put more weight on this fixture to extend their unbeaten run, and potentially their lead at the summit.
