How Paris Saint-Germain could line up against Maccabi Haifa

How PSG could line up against Maccabi Haifa

Paris Saint-Germain will have to make do without the suspended Marco Verratti for their Champions League Group H clash with Maccabi Haifa at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday night.

With victory guaranteeing Christophe Galtier's side a place in the knockout rounds, the Parisiens boss has seen Verratti collect three bookings in the tournament already, and he will miss out here.

Fellow midfielder Danilo Pereira is also absent with a hamstring injury, but Presnel Kimpembe is now back in training and is pushing to be involved, while Nuno Mendes could also return to practice before Tuesday.

Kimpembe may not be considered for a start after five weeks out, but Sergio Ramos is back from suspension and could slot in alongside Marquinhos and Nordi Mukiele as Galtier reverts to a back three.

Juan Bernat's spot at left-wing back is safe while Mendes recovers, while Achraf Hakimi will take his place on the right, and Galtier has some decisions to make in midfield with Verratti out.

Carlos Soler and Renato Sanches both started in Friday's win over Ajaccio, but Vitinha and Fabian Ruiz seem the most likely to get the nod in the middle this week.

Neymar is also back from a domestic ban of his own and is set to return to the famed trident alongside Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi, both of whom were on target in the win over Ajaccio.

PSG possible starting lineup: Donnarumma; Mukiele, Marquinhos, Ramos; Hakimi, Vitinha, Ruiz, Bernat; Messi; Mbappe, Neymar
