Maxwell: 'More to come from Paris Saint-Germain'

Maxwell says that Paris Saint-Germain can play better despite beating Olympiacos in the Champions League.

Paris Saint-Germain defender Maxwell has insisted that his side can do better despite their Champions League victory over Olympiacos.

The Ligue 1 champions opened the competition with a 4-1 win at Olympiacos on Tuesday night thanks to goals from Edinson Cavani and Marquinhos either side of a Thiago Motta brace.

The Brazilian admits that he is happy with their second-half performance, but feels that PSG can still offer more.

"In the first half, we didn't keep possession well," Maxwell told reporters. "In the second, we played higher up the pitch, had more possession and chances.

"It's not easy to win here. To start with a victory was very important. We showed a lot of good things, but we can do a lot more."

PSG host Benfica in their next Group C match.
