Alex plays down late goal

Paris Saint-Germain defender Alex has played down the late goal that his side conceded against Valencia on Tuesday.

Adil Rami scored in the final minute of normal time for the Spanish outfit at the Mestalla as his side went down 2-1 to PSG in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.

"If we came under a little bit more pressure in the second half, that is to be expected," he told UEFA.com.

"Valencia were at home, losing 2-0 and they came out to score. We were pushed back and we tried to kill the game off on the counter-attack.

"Okay, it was a shame that we conceded a goal in the last minutes but we have another 90 minutes to go forward."

Ezequiel Lavezzi and Javier Pastore scored the goals for PSG.
