Portugal striker Hugo Almeida has confirmed that he will start for his country in their Euro 2012 semi-final clash with Spain on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old will reportedly start in place of Helder Postiga who has been ruled out of the remainder of the tournament with a muscular injury.
"I am satisfied. This is what I have been working for. I will show my worth on the field and will give my all," he told reporters.
"To win the match, we need to score goals. This is our first target. We know what Spain are worth, but we deserved to be here. We will do anything to win."
The final of Euro 2012 will take place on July 1.
