Port Vale sign Ryan Taylor on free transfer

Port Vale announce the signing of former Newcastle United and Hull City defender Ryan Taylor on a short-term deal.

Port Vale have announced that they have signed Ryan Taylor on a short-team contract.

After an injury-hit campaign with Hull City, Taylor was released at the end of the season but he has now been given the opportunity of first-team football with Vale.

The Staffordshire outfit are currently in sixth place in League One and they have confirmed that their new signing is available for their fixture with Oxford United.

The 32-year-old - who has also represented Tranmere Rovers, Wigan Athletic and Newcastle United - has made just seven appearances during 2016.
