Team News: Colombia midfielder James Rodriguez fit to face Poland

James Rodriguez fit for Colombia

James Rodriguez has returned to Colombia's starting lineup for this evening's crucial World Cup clash against Poland at the Kazan Arena.

The Bayern Munich midfielder was introduced as a second-half sub in his side's opening-game defeat to Japan after being declared unfit to start.

In a huge boost for Jose Pekerman, James is fielded from the off in a side showing three changes from last time out, with Yerry Mina also brought into the fold to partner Davinson Sanchez.

Wilmar Barrios and Abel Aguilar are used in defensive midfield, while Juan Quintero, Juan Cuadrado and James will operate behind central striker Radamel Falcao.

Poland boss Adam Nawalka makes four changes to his side following their 2-1 loss to Senegal, meanwhile, bringing in Dawid Kownacki, Bartosz Bereszynski, Jan Bednarek and Jacek Goralski.

Kamil Grosicki, Jakub Blaszczykowski, Arkadiusz Milik and Thiago Cionek are the men to make way for a Poland side still without Kamil Glik due to an injury sustained prior to the tournament beginning.

Defeat for either side this evening will spell the end of their World Cup campaigns.
