Half-Time Report: Peterborough United holding Walsall

Peterborough United have held Walsall to a 0-0 half-time draw at London Road in League One tonight.

Both sides suffered throughout the opening 45 minutes as a result of the wet conditions, but the visitors created the better openings in their bid to edge ahead in the contest.

Sam Mantom could have fired the Saddlers into a 1-0 lead midway through the half, but Posh scrambled the ball away from the six-yard box in the nick of time.

Febian Brandy saw his penalty appeal waved away in the dying stages of the half as both managers settled for a share of the spoils at the break.
