Former Partick Thistle defender Jordan McMillan banned for two years

Former Partick Thistle defender Jordan McMillan has been banned from all sport for two years by UK Anti-Doping.

The 26-year-old tested positive for benzoylecgonine, a metabolite of cocaine, after Thistle's Scottish Premiership match against Celtic on December 3 last year.

He was banned for two years in April by the National Anti-Doping Panel, and following an appeal by the player - who claimed that he had his drink spiked - the NADP reconvened in Glasgow in July and upheld the original decision.

McMillan joined Thistle in March 2013, but was released in February 2015 following an internal investigation by the club.
