Cristian Rodriguez seals Gremio switch

Cristian Rodriguez cuts short his loan move with crisis-hit Parma to join Brazilian club Gremio.

Uruguay international Cristian Rodriguez has completed a move to Brazilian outfit Gremio.

The 29-year-old had joined Parma on loan from Atletico Madrid in January, but due to the financial problems surrounding the Serie A club, he has terminated his contract.

He played six times for the Gialloblu and was sent off in their goalless draw with Atalanta at the weekend.

Rodriguez has scored eight goals in his 83 appearances for Uruguay.
