Getafe will be aiming to continue their strong start to the season when they head to Estadio El Sadar on Friday evening to tackle Osasuna.
The visitors are currently eighth in the La Liga table, boasting 11 points from their opening seven matches of the 2025-26 campaign, while Osasuna are 13th, claiming seven points from their first seven games.
Match preview
Osasuna have a record of two wins, one draw and four defeats from their opening seven matches of the season, with seven points leaving them down in 13th spot.
Alessio Lisci's side won two of their first four La Liga matches of the campaign, beating Valencia and Rayo Vallecano, but they have picked up just one point from their last three games, losing to Villarreal and Real Betis either side of a 1-1 draw with Elche.
Osasuna finished ninth in Spain's top flight last season, level on points with eighth-placed Rayo Vallecano, so they came incredibly close to securing European football for this term.
Finding the back of the net has been a problem this season, only scoring five times in their seven games, but they have been relatively solid defensively, conceding only seven times.
Osasuna have only won 12 of their previous 44 matches against Getafe in all competitions, and they suffered a 2-1 defeat to the capital side in the corresponding game last term.
Getafe have only actually lost one of their last 12 La Liga matches against Osasuna, and the visitors have had a strong start to the season, picking up 11 points from seven matches to sit in eighth spot.
Jose Bordalas's side finished 13th in Spain's top flight last season, and they will certainly be looking to improve on that this term considering the quality in their squad.
The Deep Blue Ones actually picked up nine points from their first four league matches of the campaign, beating Celta Vigo, Sevilla and Real Oviedo, but they did lose 3-0 at Valencia at the end of August.
Getafe suffered another 3-0 defeat on September 21 against Barcelona, while they have drawn their last two, both 1-1, against Alaves and Levante, so the capital side will be bidding to return to winning ways on Friday.

Team News
Osasuna will again be without the services of Aimar Oroz due to a foot injury, but the home side are otherwise in strong shape for their home La Liga clash with Getafe.
Ante Budimir has scored twice for Osasuna this term, and the 34-year-old will again feature in the final third of the field, while Victor Munoz and Moi Gomez are also set to start.
There are unlikely to be any surprises when it comes to the home side's XI on Friday, with Juan Cruz and Valentin Roiser also expected to be among the starters.
As for Getafe, Juanmi remains a doubt due to a knee problem, but the forward is the away side's only potential absentee, with head coach Bordalas therefore having a strong squad available.
Adrian Liso has been in excellent form this season, scoring three times in five appearances, and the forward is expected to be back in the side following a two-game absence.
Borja Mayoral should also feature in the final third of the field, while Luis Milla, who has four assists to his name in seven appearances, is set to start in midfield for the away team.
Osasuna possible starting lineup:
Herrera; Catena, Boyomo, Cruz; Rosier, Torro, Moncayola, Bretones; Gomez, Budimir, Munoz
Getafe possible starting lineup:
Soria; Dakonam, Abqar, Duarte; Femenia, Martin, Milla, Arambarri, Rico; Mayoral, Liso
We say: Osasuna 1-1 Getafe
There has only been one draw in the last six La Liga matches between these two sides, but we are expecting the points to be shared on Friday, which would not be the worst result for either manager.
