Osasuna sack manager Jose Luis Mendilibar

Osasuna president Miguel Archanco has revealed that the club have relieved Jose Luis Mendilibar of his managerial duties.

A poor start to the season has left Osasuna bottom of La Liga after three matches, with Archanco confirming that the Spanish club are now looking for "a young and committed coach".

"We are looking for a young and committed coach who will field young players," revealed Archano on Osasuna's official Twitter feed.

The 52-year-old was appointed as the club's manager in February 2011.
