Javi Gracia delighted with Atletico Madrid scalp

Osasuna boss Javi Gracia has praised his side following their 3-0 win over Atletico Madrid on Sunday.

The top three in Spain have all failed to win in Pamplona this season, with Gracia praising his players for another impressive result at El Sadar.

"It's a special day for us. To score three goals against one of the best teams in Europe tastes so sweet," he told reporters at a press conference.

"This is an important step in our fight against relegation. This is the reward for a lot of hard work. I remember when we lost to Villarreal and Athletic and it looked like our world was going to collapse.

"But in the end, look what's happened. We've only lost two in the last 10. We're competing so well, but I still think there's more to come from my lads."

Osasuna currently sit 12th in La Liga.
