Former Malaga striker Javier Saviola signs a two-year deal with Olympiacos.

Argentinian striker Javier Saviola has agreed a two-year deal with Olympiacos after being released by Malaga at the end of last season.

The 31-year-old will be reunited with former Sevilla coach Michel at the Karaiskakis Stadium, where he has signed a two-year deal and will wear the number nine shirt.

Saviola reportedly rejected a move to Brazilian side Santos, as well as his boyhood club River Plate, before deciding to move to Greece.

He scored eight goals in 27 appearances for the Anchovies last season.
