Reading to bid for Alan Judge?

Reading are reportedly preparing to make an offer for Notts County winger Alan Judge.

The 23-year-old was one of the Magpies' stand-out performers last season, scoring eight goals in 48 appearances for the League One outfit.

According to The Sun, Royals boss Brian McDermott has sent scouts to watch Judge and he is poised to lodge a £1.2m bid for the player.

Dublin-born Judge was capped 11 times by the Republic of Ireland at Under-21 level.
