Notts County loan Josh Vela from Bolton Wanderers

Notts County have signed Bolton Wanderers midfielder Josh Vela on a 28-day youth loan.

Trotters manager Dougie Freedman revealed last week that he was planning to send the talented 20-year-old out to a lower division club to gain first-team experience.

League One strugglers Notts, who are bottom of the table and seven points from safety, have swooped for his signature and will have his services for at least their next five matches.

Vela, who has made 12 appearances for Bolton since debuting in 2012, could make his Magpies debut when they host one of their relegation rivals Carlisle United at Meadow Lane this Saturday.
