Former Manchester United goalkeeper Roy Carroll completes Notts County switch

Former Manchester United goalkeeper Roy Carroll has joined Notts County on a one-year deal.

The 36-year-old had recently been on trial with the League One club following his departure from Olympiacos at the end of last season.

Carroll, who has won 35 caps for Northern Ireland, has made over 400 appearances during his professional career.

Notts County start their League One campaign on Saturday when they make the trip to Preston North End.
