Keith Curle handed Notts County job

League One side Notts County have appointed Keith Curle as the club's new manager.

Curle, who had been out of work since leaving a coaching role with Queens Park Rangers last month, has taken over from Martin Allen following his sacking on Saturday.

The 48-year-old will be joined at Meadow Lane by a new-look coaching staff which includes first team coaches Colin Lee and Colin West, development squad manager Chris Kiwomya and goalkeeping coach Kevin Pilkington.

Curle has previously managed Mansfield Town, Torquay United and Chester City.
