Billy Davies wants more "firepower"

Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies reveals that he is keen to sign a striker during this month's transfer window.

Billy Davies has admitted that he would like to add some "firepower" to his Nottingham Forest squad this month.

The Tricky Trees are currently fifth in the Championship standings, despite the fact that they have had to contend with a number of injuries in the goalscoring department.

Nevertheless, Davies has revealed that he is keen to boost his options up front for the second half of the campaign.

"I have spoken to the chairman and we both agree that adding some firepower to this team, which is still developing, is important," the Scot told reporters.

Next up for Forest is a trip to Bolton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.
