Nottingham Forest lineup vs. Man City: Predicted XI for Premier League clash as Sean Dyche faces big decision

Sean Dyche to face selection dilemma? Predicted Nottingham Forest XI vs. Man City

Nottingham Forest have been boosted by the return of goalkeeper Matz Sels, though that does leave manager Sean Dyche with a big decision to make ahead of Saturday’s encounter with Manchester City.

John Victor has played in goal for the last three games, helping Forest to wins over Utrecht and Tottenham Hotspur before conceding a penalty in a 1-0 defeat to Fulham.

Sels – who was briefly out with a groin injury – was already available for the game with Fulham, though Dyche decided to stick with the Brazilian keeper and avoid risking his regular starter – something he may choose to do again on Saturday.

Nicolas Dominguez and Taiwo Awoniyi also returned to the squad for the Fulham game, and they are expected to be included again for the clash with City.

The same cannot be said about star striker Chris Wood, who has been out of action with a knee problem since October.

The 34-year-old is training individually, while recent reports suggest the New Zealand international is still waiting for a possible return date.

Elsewhere, Ola Aina remains on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, and he will be joined by the duo of Ryan Yates and Dan Ndoye.

On top of that, Ibrahim Sangare and Willy Boly are both out on international duty at the Africa Cup of Nations, representing the Ivory Coast.

Nottingham Forest possible starting lineup: John Victor; Williams, Murillo, Milenkovic, Savona; Douglas Luiz, Anderson; Hudson-Odoi, Gibbs-White, Hutchinson; Igor Jesus
