Forest embargo to be lifted

Nottingham Forest owner Fawaz Al Hasawi has revealed that the Football League has confirmed that the club are set to come out of their transfer embargo.

The Forest chairman said on Twitter: "Good news - the Football League has confirmed the transfer embargo will be lifted. #nffc"

The Reds were first placed under embargo in December 2014 for breaching Financial Fair Play rules in the 2013-14 season.

The Championship side have been unable to pay transfer fees in each of the last three transfer windows.
