It remains goalless at the break in the clash between Nottingham Forest and Brighton & Hove Albion at the City Ground.

Forest started the game well and Kasper Ankergren did well to stop Henri Lansbury's goalbound effort as he managed to parry the ball away from the net.

The home side were controlling possession and Andy Reid nearly opened the scoring with an ambitious chipped shot but it went just over the bar.

Simon Cox and Darius Henderson both should have given the hosts the lead but they were denied by Ankergren as he stopped Cox's initial effort and quickly blocked the effort of Henderson.

The visitors' only half-chance came from Kazenga Lualua on a counter-attack but his shot was comfortably held by Karl Darlow.
