Report: Norwich City approach Cesena forward Gregorie Defrel

Norwich City have reportedly made an approach for Cesena striker Gregorie Defrel.

The newly-promoted Premier League side are looking to bolster their frontline and have contacted the Italian outfit, who are said to be willing to sell Defrel after the club's relegation last season.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Canaries are preparing a €6.4m (£4.5m) bid for the 24-year-old Frenchman but could face opposition from Italian clubs Torino, Sampdoria and Bologna.

Defrel joined Cesena back in 2012 and has scored 16 goals in 106 appearances with the club.
