Norwich City have announced that Philippe Clement has been appointed as the club's new head coach.
With the club sitting four points adrift of safety in the Championship table, the Canaries hierarchy made the decision to part ways with Liam Manning.
A number of candidates - both from Great Britain and abroad - have been linked with the position, but Norwich have opted to hand Clement his first experience of English football as a manager.
Up until earlier this year, the Belgian was head coach of Rangers, recording 55 wins, 16 draws and 15 defeats from his 86 matches in charge.
However, he has also won three Belgian titles with Genk and Club Brugge, as well as been at Ligue 1 giants Monaco for 73 matches.

Clement reacts to accepting Norwich offer
As a result, the East Anglian outfit can claim to have pulled off a notable coup in attracting the 51-year-old to Carrow Road.
Clement told the club's official website: "I'm really excited by this story and opportunity. I've known of this club for a long time and, whilst we are not in a good moment at this time, we are excited to work together with the players and staff to turn things around.
“Meeting with the owners and hearing some of their ambitions for the club, it really convinced me that this is the best move. They have big plans for the future but, of course, our job in the short term is to turn around the current situation and get everyone believing again.
“I also see the potential in the club and the group of players, and feel totally ready for the challenge ahead.”
Sporting director Ben Knapper added: "As soon as we knew there was a chance to bring them here, there was no hesitation.
"Philippe is an incredibly experienced and prominent head coach, with clear values and beliefs that align with ours. He will bring a strong leadership presence and an impressive background having coached some of the biggest clubs in Europe."

Clement at Norwich for the long term?
In being handed a contract until the end of 2028-29, it is clear that Norwich are placing full faith in Clement eventually guiding the club back to the Premier League.
Already sitting 16 points adrift of the playoffs with 31 matches remaining, that promotion bid may have to wait until later campaigns with Norwich initially needing to get out of trouble.
Norwich face relegation rivals Oxford United and Sheffield United in their first five games under Clement, who starts with a trip to Birmingham City on Saturday afternoon.
