Jonny Howson extends Norwich City contract until 2019

Norwich City midfielder Jonny Howson has signed a new four-year contract with the Premier League side.

The 27-year-old, who joined Norwich from boyhood club Leeds United in January 2012, extends his stay until the end of the 2018-19 season.

"I'm really pleased, especially after last season going so well," Howson told the club website.

"Since the manager (Alex Neil) has come in everyone knows how well we've done, and I'm excited to remain a part of that."

Howson has scored 14 times in 110 appearances for Norwich.
