Andrea Ranocchia heading for Norwich City?

Norwich City reportedly lead the race for Inter Milan defender Andrea Ranocchia, who is widely expected to leave his current club next month.

The 27-year-old, who has also been strongly linked with Bologna, is an Italian international of 20 caps, while he has made more than 150 appearances for Inter in all competitions.

The centre-back is contracted to Inter until 2019, but according to Gazzetta dello Sport, he will seek pastures new in January and his agent is currently in contact with Premier League side Norwich.

The Italian, who won the Coppa Italia with Inter in 2011, has only made one Serie A start this season.
