Goalscorer Michael Turner believes that Norwich City did enough to beat Aston Villa this afternoon.

Michael Turner has admitted that the entire Norwich City are squad are "disappointed" not to have claimed maximum points from their trip to Aston Villa earlier today.

Centre-back Turner scored 11 minutes from time to secure a share of the spoils for the Canaries at Villa Park.

"We applied lots and lots of pressure throughout the whole game," he told . "We felt comfortable throughout the whole game but made on mistake for their goal, which was disappointing but after that, I think we dominated the whole game.

"We're disappointed that we didn't pick up all three points. Their goal come in from a cross and maybe I should have got over.

"It's obviously disappointing from our point of view because that's pretty much the only thing that they've created. The team showed great character to go on and get something from the game."

The draw moved the Canaries up to 15th in the Premier League table.
