Alex Neil praises Norwich City for "professional" victory

Norwich City were in total control against Sheffield Wednesday, says manager Alex Neil.

Norwich City manager Alex Neil has said that his team did a "good professional job", as they saw off Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 at Carrow Road.

Two first-half goals from midfielder Bradley Johnson were enough to secure victory for the Canaries, who sit second in the Championship table.

Neil told Sky Sports News: "I thought we played really well in the first half and had two goals to show for it. In the second we didn't move the ball as quickly as I would have liked at times but we did a good professional job in seeing the game out and I never felt we were in danger of losing control.

"I don't know how important it is to be in the top two with five games still to be played, but the good thing is we now have points in hand on those teams below us and if we keep winning we will stay in the top two. We just need to focus on winning our games, starting with the next one at Bolton."

Norwich are a point behind Bournemouth at the top of the table.
