Roma consider Davide Santon approach?

Roma are reportedly considering a January offer for Newcastle United defender Davide Santon.

The 21-year-old Italian impressed on Tyneside last season as the Magpies earned qualification to the Europa League.

Serie A side Roma could now make a cursory bid for the full-back in the next transfer window, according to talkSPORT.

If their offer for Santon is knocked back then they may try to lure Marseille defender and former Newcastle target Mathieu Debuchy to the Stadio Olimpico.
