Report: Florian Thauvin open to leaving Newcastle United in January

Florian Thauvin is reportedly considering leaving Newcastle United in January, just five months after moving to St James' Park from Marseille.

The 22-year-old was part of the Magpies' summer spending, but has struggled to make an impact this season.

According to Mercato 365, the attacking midfielder is open to moving to another club should Newcastle opt to offload him when the transfer window reopens in three months' time.

Thauvin's contract does not expire until 2020.
