Premier League trio chase Danny Simpson?

A trio of Premier League clubs are understood to be chasing Newcastle United defender Danny Simpson.

The 26-year-old has fallen out of favour at St James' Park in recent weeks following the arrival of Mathieu Debuchy.

Fulham, West Bromwich Albion and Wigan Athletic are now all keen to sign the full-back, according to the Daily Mail.

Simpson has six months left on his current deal at Newcastle.
