No Newcastle United contact over PSV Eindhoven midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum?

Newcastle United have reportedly made no approach for PSV Eindhoven midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum.

It was recently claimed that the Magpies were due to sign the 24-year-old, beating rivals Sunderland to his signature.

Netherlands international Wijnaldum has been valued at around £15m by the Dutch champions.

However, there has been no contact between Newcastle and PSV over a summer transfer, according to Sky Sports News.

Wijnaldum moved to the Philips Stadion from Feyenoord in 2011 for around £3.5m.
