Newcastle United to launch Bojan Krkic bid

Newcastle United are to launch a bid for Roma forward Bojan Krkic.

The 21-year-old could replace Demba Ba, who leaves on African Cup of Nations duty in January, according to footybunker.com.

The Magpies are currently third in the Premier League table after a strong start to the season.

The Spaniard joined Roma from Barcelona in the summer for €12m (£10m).
