Newcastle United have reportedly ended their interest in FC Twente striker Luuk de Jong.
The 21-year-old has attracted a host of interest following his performances last season, but reports in Holland have suggested that the Magpies are not prepared to increase their current offer.
De Jong's agent suggested on Monday that the frontman will leave the club this summer, but it is understood that Newcastle are no longer in the running.
De Jong scored 25 league goals for Twente last season.
