Report: Newcastle United close in on Marseille winger Florian Thauvin

Newcastle United have agreed a move with Marseille for Florian Thauvin, according to reports.

The 22-year-old winger signed for Les Phoceens in 2013 from Lille, making 67 appearances and scoring 13 goals for the South of France outfit.

According to The Mirror, Thauvin is keen on a move to St James's Park and is set to complete a switch to the Tyneside club in the next few days.

Newcastle have already signed Chancel Mbemba, Georginio Wijnaldum, Aleksandar Mitrovic and Ivan Toney this summer.
