Lille 'eyeing Newcastle United forward Yoan Gouffran'

Lille are reportedly weighing up a January bid for out-of-favour Newcastle United forward Yoan Gouffran.

The French club are seeking an experienced striker and the 29-year-old tops their list, according to The Chronicle.

Gouffran, who has not scored for Newcastle since late January, is expected to be available for around £500,000.

The former Bordeaux player was linked with loan moves to Wolverhampton Wanderers and Charlton Athletic over the summer but chose to remain with the Magpies and fight for first-team football.
