Mathieu Debuchy: 'I want to stay at Newcastle United'

Newcastle United defender Mathieu Debuchy has insisted that he wants to remain at St James' Park, despite rumours over his future.

The Frenchman is believed to have been targeted by Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco this summer, but Debuchy has admitted that he is in the dark regarding reported interest.

"I don't know about the rumours saying I have been contacted by Paris or Monaco," The Chronicle quotes Debuchy as saying. "I feel good In Newcastle. I want to stay In England. I love the Premier League."

Debuchy signed for the Magpies in January.
