Newcastle United reportedly give Fabricio Coloccini until the end of the week to decide whether he will stay until the end of the season or leave the club this month.

Newcastle United defender Fabricio Coloccini has reportedly been told that he must make a decision regarding his future by the end of the week.

The 31-year-old is believed to have been in talks with the club's officials in the last week to express his desire to leave St James' Park for personal reasons.

According to BBC Sport journalist Ben Smith, while a potential move to San Lorenzo has broken down, Newcastle have given Coloccini a deadline to decide whether he will stay until the end of the season or go back to South America this month.

Reports today claimed that the Argentine is ready to walk away from the North-East outfit.
