Chelsea plan Demba Ba swoop?

Chelsea are reportedly lining up a summer bid for Newcastle United striker Demba Ba.

The Senegalese international has impressed this term as his 16 Premier League goals have helped the Magpies challenge for European football.

The 26-year-old is now thought to be on Chelsea's radar as a possible replacement for Didier Drogba, according to Caughtoffside.com.

Ba has been linked with a number of clubs after details emerged that he had a buy-out clause of around £10m in his contract at the Sports Direct Arena.
