'Bigger club' than Newcastle United are interested in Douglas

FC Twente defender Douglas has revealed that Newcastle United are not the 'biggest club' that are interested in his signature.

The 24-year-old Brazilian has been on the Magpies' radar for the last six months and recently hinted that he is seeking a move away from Holland this summer.

However, Douglas has refused to be drawn on where he intends to go.

He said: "Five clubs are interested and there's a bigger club than Newcastle.

"I cannot still say anything about it but I hope soon to have my new club."

Douglas made 41 appearances for Twente last season, scoring five goals.
